Quetta: The Meteorological Department has forecast that the weather across most parts of Balochistan will remain dry and hot over the next 24 hours, with temperatures expected to rise further in the plains and southern districts.
According to the Met Office, certain areas of the province may experience strong, dusty winds.
In the evening, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms is likely in Barkhan and surrounding regions.
Temperature data released by the department shows that Quetta recorded a maximum temperature of 36°C, Kalat 32°C, Ziarat 26°C, and Zhob 38°C.
Sibi remained the hottest, with the temperature reaching 47°C, followed by Turbat at 41°C, Nokundi at 45°C, and Chaman at 38°C. Coastal regions also continued to experience heat, with Gwadar recording 37°C and Jiwani 35°C.

The Meteorological Department has advised the public to take precautions during the heatwave and avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight.
