DERA MURAD JAMALI: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) militants blew up two gas pipelines in separate explosions in Dera Murad Jamali, disrupting the already fragile peace in Balochistan.
In this regard, as per the verified sources, the first incident took place in Dera Murad Jamali, where explosive material was used to target a gas pipeline. Fortunately, gas supply through the targeted pipeline had already been suspended at the time of the blast, preventing a major catastrophe.
Furthermore, it was a coordinated attack, and another gas pipeline was blown up on the Kashmore Road near Mazari Kot in Sui where police officials confirmed that the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), and teams from law enforcement and intelligence agencies swiftly reached the site to secure the area and begin an investigation.

Meanwhile, the BLA, often operating in tandem with the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), has been linked to numerous acts of terrorism and insurgency across Balochistan. These groups have persistently targeted strategic infrastructure, including gas pipelines, railway tracks, and power lines, in an attempt to disrupt state functions and sow chaos among the local population.
