Balochistan Textbook Board launches E-Book App

QUETTA: The Balochistan Textbook Board (BTBB) has launched its official E-Book App, offering students and educators across the province free and easy access to digital textbooks.

This forward-thinking initiative aligns with the Government of Pakistan’s broader vision for a Digital Pakistan, aiming to integrate technology into key sectors, including education.

The E-Book App is designed to provide instant access to the entire curriculum, ensuring that students from both urban centers and remote rural areas benefit equally from quality educational resources.

Furthermore, one of the most commendable features of the app is its offline accessibility, a feature developed specifically with Balochistan’s unique geography in mind. In this regard, many students living in areas where internet access is either limited or unreliable, the offline mode ensures continued learning without interruption.

This makes the app particularly impactful for students in far-flung districts, mountainous regions, and underserved communities.

Moreover, the digital platform offers textbooks in multiple subjects and classes, and its user-friendly interface makes it accessible for students and teachers alike.

In this sense, education stakeholders, parents, and civil society members have widely welcomed the initiative, calling it a “game changer” for Balochistan’s academic future. The app is expected to play a crucial role in reducing school dropout rates and improving overall literacy and learning outcomes across the province.
