Quetta: A 7-year-old girl who was injured by a stray bullet during aerial firing in the Chalo Bawri area of Quetta has sadly passed away in Karachi.
The tragic incident occurred last Friday night when celebratory gunfire broke out in the neighborhood, and a stray bullet struck the innocent child.
She was rushed to Quetta’s trauma center but due to her critical condition, she was shifted to Karachi three days later for further treatment.
Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries in Karachi, leaving her family heartbroken.
This heartbreaking incident serves as yet another grim reminder of the deadly consequences of reckless aerial firing.
The senseless loss of such young lives raises serious concerns for law enforcement and should stir a collective awakening in society.
The grieving family is demanding justice, while local residents and civil society have urged authorities to take swift and strict legal action against those involved in aerial firing to prevent such tragedies in the future.
