Tel Aviv: Iran launched fourth major missile attack on Israel early Saturday morning. Several missiles were fired in the latest attack, one of which landed on its target in the central area of Tel Aviv. Explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
According to Israeli media, the missiles fired by Iran fell at various locations in Tel Aviv, including an Israeli Ministry of Defense building. While there are reports of two Iranian missiles falling in Gush Dan.
According to media reports, the attack caused a severe fire and at least 63 people have been injured so far while several buildings have been destroyed.
The Israeli military says several of the missiles fired by Iran were shot down in mid-air, while others hit their targets. Citizens have been ordered to evacuate in anticipation of the missile attacks.
Iran called the attack a continuation of “Operation Sadiq III,” saying it was a retaliation against Israel’s policies. Earlier, Iran had fired a total of 150 to 200 missiles at Israel in three intervals over an hour.

The first attack involved 100, the second 50, and the third about 50. Analysts say the attacks could be a prelude to a wider war in the region.
