62 Balochistan Levies personnel suspended over corruption charges

QUETTA: Director General of the Balochistan Levies Force, Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, has suspended 62 personnel from 18 districts with immediate effect over the corruption charges.

According to details, DG Balochistan Levies Force has adopted a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and bribery at checkpoints. The suspended officers include Risaldars, Naib Risaldars, Daffadars, Havaldars, Sepoys, and drivers. The suspended personnel belong to Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Chaman, Kachhi, Khuzdar, Musakhel, Barkhan, Sherani, Loralai, Zhob, Sibi, Washuk, Chaghi, Jhal Magsi, Mastung, Surab, Panjgur, and Noshki districts of Balochistan.

On the occasion, DG Levies said that no one will be allowed to violate the law and strict action will be taken against those found guilty of corruption.

DG Levies also formed a committee to investigate the charges against the suspended personnel, Dr. Mir Wais Khan, Director (Admin/Finance), has been appointed as the inquiry officer of committee and directed to submit a within 15 days.
