ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan ECP has released new data showing the total number of registered voters in Pakistan has reached nearly 135 million.
A breakdown of the numbers reveals a significant gender gap in voter registration across the country, with men making up 53.62% (72.35 million) and women comprising 46.38% (62.59 million) of the electorate.
The data shows the total number of registered voters in the Balochistan is 5,638,084. Of these, 3,156,026 are male voters (55.98%) and 2,482,058 are female voters (44.02%).

This indicates the widest gender gap in voter registration among all regions, with male voters outnumbering female voters by over 673,000. For comparison, the gender gap is narrower in other major provinces like Punjab and Sindh.
