ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck Balochistan on Friday.
The tremor occurred at 11:30 a.m., with its epicenter located 86 kilometers northeast of Khuzdar. The quake had a depth of 13 kilometers.
The epicenter coordinates were 28.31° north latitude and 67.29° east longitude.
The earthquake was felt in Khuzdar, Shahdadkot, and surrounding areas.
Initial reports indicate no casualties or property damage. Local authorities are assessing the situation.
