3200 schools open in Balochistan, CM Bugti

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has inaugurated 3,200 schools across the province, indicating a historic milestone in the region’s pursuit of quality education. This ambitious initiative comes with the transparent and merit-based recruitment of teachers, with officials reporting a 99.99% adherence to merit during the hiring process.

The large-scale opening of schools is being seen as a pivotal moment in addressing the educational challenges faced by the province. He was speaking at the Jirga Show by Saleem Safi on Geo News,

Today is a day of pride for the people of Balochistan. We are not only opening doors to learning but ensuring that our children are taught by qualified and deserving individuals selected on pure merit, he said.

Furthermore, parents and students in rural and urban areas alike have expressed joy and hope, seeing this development as a turning point. 

“For years, our village had no proper school or trained teachers. Now, our children can dream of a better future,” said a resident of Khuzdar.

Moreover, the initiative is part of a larger educational reform agenda that includes teacher training, curriculum development, and school infrastructure improvements.
