150 Appointments in Balochistan Constabulary done

QUETTA: The appointments on the Federal Constabulary in Balochistan have been done.

The process has been carried out keeping the merit and transparency in view.

According to the details, the selections of 150 personnel in the Balochistan Constabulary have been done now.

The CM Balochistan has praised IG Balochistan Mohammad Tahir Khan for the successful process of appointments calling it a significant move towards development in Balochistan.

The CM said that the government will open the doors of employment and development in Balochistan.

The transparency and the meritocracy will the topmost priority.

The Federal Constabulary in Balochistan refers primarily to paramilitary forces like the Frontier Corps (FC) and other federal law enforcement units deployed to maintain law and order, counter terrorism, and secure borders in the province.

Operating under the Ministry of Interior with leadership often seconded from the Pakistan Army, these forces play a crucial role in managing both internal and external security challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Border security along Afghanistan and Iran to prevent smuggling, infiltration, and cross-border crimes.
  • Counter-insurgency operations against militant groups and armed extremists.
  • Supporting provincial police in maintaining public order and peace.
