ZHOB: Security forces have killed 14 more Indian-sponsored “Fitna al Khawarij” terrorists during a clearance operation in Zhob, Balochistan, bringing the two-day death toll to 47, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
According to ISPR, the terrorists attempted to infiltrate Pakistan from Afghanistan’s Khost province into the Sambaza area of Zhob district on Thursday. In a major counter-action, security forces foiled the attempt, eliminating 33 militants on the first day.
The search and clearance operation continued into the second day. During an exchange of fire, 14 more terrorists were killed. Security forces also seized a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the slain militants.
The military’s spokesperson reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces are determined to completely eradicate terrorism from the country.

The President, Prime Minister, Interior Minister, and other political leaders praised the bravery of the armed forces, vowing that with national support, the scourge of terrorism will be rooted out once and for all.
