QUETTA: Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has finalized all the arrangements for regular and continuous supply of electricity in the provincial capital of Balochistan, on 7th, 9th and 10th Muharram.
According to details, QESCO has established a Central Monitoring and Emergency Control Center (Telephone No. 081-9201445 and 0812829753) to ensure continuous supply of electricity and timely redressal of consumer complaints. It will work continuously for 24 hours in 3 shifts. QESCO’s Central Monitoring and Emergency Control Center will be in constant contact with the Provincial Government’s Emergency Control Center 15, i.e. Madagar Center, regarding the power situation in these relevant feeders. Quetta city, 7th, 9th and 10th Muharram Feeders connected to Imambargahs have been exempted from load shedding.
In addition, for continuous supply of electricity on the procession routes of Muharram-ul-Haram and timely redressal of consumer complaints, the Central Monitoring and Emergency Control Center will take emergency measures to restore electricity in any area in case of power outage or after receiving a complaint. In Quetta city, feeders connected to Imambargahs such as Marriabad, Syedabad, Gulistan, Liaquat Bazar Express, Toghi Road, Hazara Town, Karani, Satellite Town and Maghrib Bypass feeders have been exempted from load shedding on the 7th, 9th and 10th of Muharram-ul-Haram.

Similarly, in other areas of the province outside Quetta city, No load shedding will be done on the feeders connected to Imambargahs from 5 am to 12 midnight on the 10th of Muharram only, including feeders connected to Imambargahs in the areas of Rojhan Jamali, Jhal Magsi, Awsta Muhammad, Dera Murad Jamali, Gandakha, Sohbatpur, Bhag, Sibi, Loralai, Khuzdar, Mach and Zhob.
