AWARAN: The local population and the state, a grand tribal jirga was convened in Awaran with the collaborative efforts of the Pakistan Army and the civil administration. The jirga was attended by notable tribal elders, civil officials, and military representatives, indicating an important step toward rebuilding trust in the region.
During the gathering, local tribal leaders candidly expressed their concerns, shared long-standing grievances, and put forward suggestions for socio-economic development and peace-building in Awaran.
The issues raised included education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, and livelihood opportunities for the youth.
In such a scenario, representatives from the civil administration and military assured the attendees that their concerns would be addressed promptly and effectively.

The jirga focused on mutual cooperation and respect, and was hailed as a reflection of renewed efforts toward inclusive governance and stability in Balochistan.
