India reignites proxy war in Balochistan after direct clashes setback

QUETTA: Following its humiliating defeat during four days of direct military clashes with Pakistan, India has once again returned to its old and familiar playbook—proxy warfare.

In a clear act of desperation, the Indian-sponsored terrorist group Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has launched a campaign under the name Operation Baam, targeting civilian infrastructure and development projects in Balochistan. Operating under the banner of Fitna al Hindustan, the group has struck soft targets to instill fear and disrupt daily life.

From mobile towers to civilian vehicles, the attackers have deliberately chosen unprotected, non-military targets. Their aim is not resistance, but terrorism masked as a so-called liberation movement. These attacks clearly reflect an intent to destabilise Pakistan from within by spreading fear among ordinary citizens.

Pakistan’s security leadership has long identified and tracked such tactics.

The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) has repeatedly exposed the role of India’s intelligence agency, RAW, in fueling unrest in Balochistan. He has also consistently named Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Advisor, as the mastermind behind hybrid warfare operations, including digital disinformation campaigns and militant networks directed at Pakistan.

Despite these provocations, Pakistan’s armed forces have always responded with clarity, courage, and precision. They understand the stakes—and they remain committed to defending the nation’s sovereignty at all costs.

This latest wave of attacks marks a renewed phase of India’s proxy war. But like every attempt before it, Pakistan will counter this aggression with surgical strikes, intelligence-led operations, and unwavering resolve.

The enemies of peace may try to hide behind false narratives and fake liberation slogans, but Pakistan stands firm—vigilant, united, and ready to protect its people from both external threats and internal disruption.
