HOSHAB: On the night of July 4th, terrorists linked to Fitna-e-Hindustan infiltrated the under-construction Hoshab-Khuzdar route — a key segment of the future China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) — and attempted to create chaos by erecting bogus blockades. Their goal wasn’t territorial control, but pure propaganda. They filmed staged videos and fled the area well before security forces reached the scene.
This latest episode is part of a broader disinformation campaign designed to fabricate an image of unrest and instability in Balochistan. The militants, acting on the behest of foreign handlers, aim to mislead international audiences by creating false visuals of strength and defiance. However, the facts on the ground tell a different story: there was no confrontation, no damage, and certainly no evidence of their exaggerated claims.
In one such claim, these elements alleged they had shot down a drone. But on inspection, there was no wreckage, no debris, no parts — only a blurry patch on the ground and a louder-than-substance media post. The propaganda fell apart under even basic scrutiny.
Security forces confirmed that the situation in the area remains stable and under control. Locals have also rejected the militants’ narrative, voicing strong support for peace, development, and unity with Pakistan.
Residents of Balochistan continue to stand firm against these attempts to destabilize the province. They have made it clear: they choose prosperity over propaganda and peace over imported violence.
