Cricket team to tour Bangladesh in March, three-match ODI series scheduled

LAHORE: The Pakistan national cricket team is set for an important tour of Bangladesh in March, where it will face the Bangladesh national cricket team in a three-match One Day International (ODI) series that is already drawing considerable attention across the cricketing world.

The Pakistan squad will arrive in Dhaka on March 9. A full training session is planned for March 10 as players fine-tune their preparations ahead of the opening encounter on March 11.

The second ODI is scheduled for March 13, while the third and final fixture will take place on March 15.

In this regard, all three matches will be staged at the iconic Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, widely regarded as Bangladesh’s premier international cricket venue.

The stadium has historically produced closely contested matches and is expected to provide a competitive surface once again.

For Pakistan, the tour presents a chance to build momentum and reinforce confidence in overseas conditions. For Bangladesh, playing at home offers a strategic advantage and an opportunity to assert dominance before a passionate local crowd.

In this sense, with conditions in Dhaka known to challenge visiting teams and home supporters expected to create an electrifying atmosphere, cricket fans are preparing for what promises to be a compelling contest.

The focus now shifts to team selections and final preparations—because this three-match encounter may prove to be far more than just another bilateral series.
