QUETTA: Since January 2025, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has suffered 42 fatalities and arrests within Kalat Division alone.
A major blow to the group came through the effective strikes on its supply routes, carried out by the joint Iran-Pakistan Border Intelligence Coordination Center.
These operations disrupted their logistics to such an extent that the BLA was left without reliable financing or safe escape routes.
In desperation, the group sought emergency support from local urban networks inside Balochistan—particularly from front groups like BYC.
However, growing public awareness and community resistance blocked this path as well.
The recent operation in Surab is a clear example of how intelligence superiority is the most powerful weapon against terrorism.
This success underscores the need for continued collaboration among local communities, district administrations, and law enforcement agencies.
Peace and progress in Balochistan depend on mutual respect for life and property and a strong sense of national unity.
The defeat of the militants in Gidar, Surab, revealed a crucial truth: BLA is neither a legitimate movement nor a representative of rights.
It is merely a rent-seeking gang thriving on Indian funding, now rapidly losing ground.

As long as state institutions remain strong and vigilant, the group’s remaining commanders will meet the same fate—buried in the very mountains they tried to turn into symbols of destruction rather than guardians of Balochistan’s future.
