BLA’s brutality shows terrorism is a shared threat across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Indian-funded banned militant outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) continues to pose a grave threat not just to one community or region, but to the collective peace of the nation.

Despite its claims of representing Baloch rights, the BLA has repeatedly targeted innocent civilians across all ethnic groups in the province.

According to details, the terrorists group BLA branded Baloch civilians as “death squad members” and killed them, abducted Pashtuns solely based on their affiliation with government institutions, burned down homes, businesses, and livelihoods in rural areas of innocent civilians, pulled Punjabi passengers off buses and murdered them, targeted Sindhi, Seraiki, and now increasingly, Muhajir citizens.

BLA’s brutal acts of terrorism have sparked outrage on social media, with citizens questioning the disturbing silence of national political leaders. Figures such as Akhtar Mengal, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and representatives from MQM have come under criticism for not publicly condemning these killings.

Many analysts warned that some elements have blurred the line between victim and aggressor by portraying wanted militants as “missing persons” under the guise of human rights.

Analysts questioned that if the nation continues to respond with mere condemnation and silence after every deadly incident, are we not indirectly accepting terrorism as part of our reality.

They urged Pakistanis from all backgrounds to rise above ethnic, political, and linguistic divisions and take a collective stand against terror networks and their facilitators in Balochistan.

Critics said that this is not about Baloch versus Punjabi, or Pashtun versus Sindhi, this is about Pakistan versus those who trade in blood and fear for dollars and foreign agendas, when sons of every province are being killed, it is no longer just Balochistan’s issue it becomes a national concern and we need to develop one strong voice against these forces of chaos to ensure the peaceful future for out coming generation.
